This is Fern Belmire, a Greenwatch from the planet Chartreuse, a tropical planet that consists solely of plantlife. With an ecology sustained solely by plants, Chartreuse is a beautiful planet where nature thrives. With a consistent orbit, the climate of Chartreuse is warm all year round, making it a veritable paradise.

However, the rampant plantlife of Chartreuse is more than simple scenery. The colonists of Chartreuse must contend with deadly toxins, acidic sap, and infectious spores. The worst of these is a plant called Lynchseed, which releases thick clouds of pollen that infects and shuts out the human respiratory system. Lynchseed gathers in masses and spreads very quickly, sometimes covering entire regions of Chartreuse in clouds of Lynchseed pollen.

Planet-born Chartreusans have evolved and adapted to the planet's ecology, able to achieve photosynthesis through their skin to provide the necessary nutrients to survive and grow. Chartreusans also receive energy from sunlight, much like a solar panel, enhancing their senses to superhuman levels.

Born on the excavation colonies of Chartreuse, Fern is an upbeat, positive, cheerful girl. Despite her carefree attitude, Fern is a skilled navigator, able to use her sunlight-enhanced senses to navigate the dense forests and jungles of Chartreuse flawlessly. She is a member of Chartreuse's Greenwatch, the colonists' specialty group of scouts, navigators and guides. Her abundance of energy makes her a perfect tracker, able to see in any spectrum of light and able to make lightning-fast calculations. However, as all of her energy and enthusiasm are driven by sunlight, a distinct lack of sunlight will rob her of energy and motivation, making her complacent and lazy.

Most of Chartreuse's workforce consists of women, who actually receive more energy (and therefore the heightened senses) from the photosynthesis process. This is because exposure to sufficient amounts of water (either through ingestion or contact) triggers a growth hormone, causing the breasts to expand. The additional mass allows more exposure to sunlight, which are then allocated to the senses. However, the growth trigger is hardwired to respond to nourishment of any kind, so it is possible to expand spontaneously when eating (Fern loves to eat, since her only diet is sunlight and water), or when generating endorphins of any kind.

I have to say that I love your character and costume designs XD. You have a wonderful use of color and a very good bio for each of your characters. The BE part is a nice touch as well haha.

I hope that we get to see more pictures of them in the future. XD I would love to see you do more picture or comics involving their world or special abilities!
